When I launch Didiom Pro on my phone, I am asked to enter my Didiom ID and password. Where do I get these?
You choose your Didiom ID (username) and password when you set up your Didiom Pro account. Unless you have an existing Didiom account, you will need to set up an account through Didiom Desktop before using Didiom Pro, or here. If you have downloaded Didiom Pro iPhone Edition, you will also be able to set up an account on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Do I have to have Didiom Desktop running on my computer when I stream?
Yes. Your computer has to be online, with Didiom Desktop up and running. This way we can maintain an encrypted channel between your computer and phone, and eliminate the need to upload your audio collection to our servers.

Do I have to have iTunes running on my computer to stream my tracks to my phone?
No. Just make sure Didiom Desktop monitors the folders where you store your audio files and playlists.

Can I stream audio from an external hard drive to my phone?
Yes. Just make sure that your external hard drive is on, monitored on Didiom Desktop, and connected with the data cable to the computer you run Didiom Desktop on.

How many folders and hard drives can Didiom Pro monitor?
You can choose three folders or hard drives under Music, three under Podcasts, and three under Audiobooks. All in all, you can monitor up to nine hard drives with audio files, regardless of their storage capacity.

Didiom Desktop monitors a parent directory on my computer. Does it automatically monitor all subdirectories underneath?
Yes. If both parent and subdirectories are selected, you won’t be able to stream. Please make sure there is no overlap.

My computer’s music library shows up on my BlackBerry, but when I click Stream, it never starts playback. I just see a red circle spinning in the center of the player. What can I do?
If you see your library on your BlackBerry but cannot get the streaming to work, chances are your BlackBerry has been connected to a restrictive BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). The BES, which limits the resources and user data available to mobile apps, is one of the most common causes of streaming problems. To get the streaming to work, contact your wireless carrier, or either the company's BES administrator or IT department. Ask them to change the software configuration assigned to your device, and to grant elevated permissions to Didiom Pro.

I want to download a track from my library to my BlackBerry/Windows phone wirelessly. Does Didiom Pro deliver the same file stored on my computer?
Yes. The format and bit rate do not change.

My playlists do not show up on my phone. What can I do?
To listen to your playlists, you should monitor both the folder(s) where you store the playlist file(s) and the audio files on those playlists.

I lost my connection or lost battery power while I was downloading music from my computer to my BlackBerry/Windows phone. How do I finish the download?
Until the file is downloaded successfully, the file will remain available by selecting Settings. From there, check Pending Downloads, and select the song to continue downloading.

What should I do if I forgot my password?
If you forget your account password, go to the account login page, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your e-mail address. We’ll e-mail you a temporary password you can use to sign in and create a new one. For security purposes, the credit card information will be erased from your account, and you will have to reenter it.
