Ran Assaf, Founder & CEO, oversees Didiom’s strategy
and product innovation as well as the interaction of the company’s technological
functions with its digital media partners worldwide. He is also responsible for
identifying emerging growth opportunities, and devising the visual identity of Didiom’s
breakthrough application design. Mr. Assaf has over ten years of leadership experience
in technology, global operations and research. Before founding Didiom, he spent
four years at Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), one of the world's leading providers of software
products and services to the communications industry. He supervised the company’s
multi-million dollar business engagements with premier telecommunications companies,
including Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile Germany, Vodafone Ireland and Nextel. Working
closely with the company’s senior management and operating divisions worldwide,
Mr. Assaf led dozens of cross-continental projects and played a pivotal role in
establishing Amdocs’ first Program Management Office in the US. Mr. Assaf holds
a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion-Israel Institute
of Technology and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson Graduate School of Business
in Massachusetts.
Peng Li, Ph.D., CTO, has led the development of Didiom's
software technology since joining the company in July 2005. He has over ten years
of experience in software engineering and the development of e-commerce, wireless
and database-driven platforms. Before assuming his current position, Dr. Li previously
held research and development positions at China National Computer Software and
Technology Service Corporation (China's largest software provider), Pansky Technology
Group (one of China's leading providers of IT services), Citibank Singapore, Motorola
Asia, CDC Corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA) and the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr.
Li has also published articles on e-commerce, database optimization and security,
and has presented his research to international audiences. Dr. Li holds a B.Sc.
and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Renmin University in China, and a Ph.D. in Computer
Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Lindsey Liao, Chief Mobile Architect, has been responsible
for the development of Didiom's mobile software technology since joining the company
in May 2006. With broad experience in object-oriented programming, algorithm design,
and cross-platform software development, Mr. Liao drives and champions Didiom's
software engineering best practices for creating the highest quality products with
the greatest operational efficiencies. Some of his most significant contributions
at Didiom have included the expansion of the company's Windows Mobile-based products
to new environments and the development of consistent and optimized user interfaces,
as well as the establishment of system architectures for Didiom's new product lines.
Mr. Liao holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from South China University of Technology
and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from New York University (NYU).
